New Bios ???

Hi, Not been here long but have seen some ppl with a multi of x25, I have a Giga P55-ud5 and cant get it past x22 and seems to become unstable if i go past 205 BCLK.

 

So the Q i have is there such thing as a cracked BIOS so i can up the multi ??

 

O the CPU is a i7 860 and 4 gig 2000mhz ram. (new ram today)

 

Hope there is anyone that can help

Sorry but no such thing.

 

for unlocked multi you need either an intel extreme edition or amd black edition

Thanks what i have seen but also seen RJR screen shot his multi is on x25

pretty sure it is turbo boost that is allowing this. which your cpu should be capable of this as well.. though I think certain motherboards handle this feature differently.

In the words of the great poet " Ahhh crap" I have done everything thats been said and i have read it will only go to x22.

 

I cant get past 205 with the Bclk without it getting a bit shakey. Can see me buying a new Mobo!!!!

It's in there Danny, I'm on the original Bios (F3) for the UD4P, and it is just the turbo doing this but it's not stable for 24/7 use at these higher multi's.
