Extra 260 (core 216) For SLI Or 5850?

I currently have a gtx 260. I found someone who is selling pc parts in mint condition. Should I buy an extra gtx 260 for SLI for $100, or go for the msi radeon 5850 for $250? I know the 5850 is a beast (even beats out a 285 on some benchmarks) and is hard to find right now, but I know SLI 260 is probably just as good.

I'm guessing most of you will say go for the 5850.

I would go for the 5850.

Two GTX 260 beat the 5850 today but the 5850 is DX11 ready and a new generation card, not to mention the drivers are still immature and it can get a performance boost as the time passes, not only with drivers but also with DX11 games that will run a lot better in DX11 cards obviously.

You can eventually sell your GTX260 for about 100$ which will help you buying the 5850.

Another option is to wait a bit longer for the Nvidia new generation and see what they have to offer.
