Cespenar Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I removed the D-Link Airplus G DWL-G510 PCI Adapter (rev.C) from my computer. Yesterday, the Device Manager reckons it has come back. But in error mode. I even removed all mentions of the hardware from the registry, and all software also. Why is this so? Where else can I look other than the registry? I run XP sp3. Cespenar Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Found the problem! It was between the chair and the keyboard. I still had the wireless card in place, but hadn't used it for a year, so i forgot it was there.

Crazy_Nate Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 , if I'm too lazy to take a PCI card out, I just disable it in device manager :thumbs-up:
