I think Microsoft lets either one choose if they want to help, and I guess Nvidia decided its not worth it. Didn't they help with DX10 though? psycho_terror Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 wasn't really impressed. tessellation has been around since the HD2xxx series, and for the most part it looks as if some steep parallax mapping would have been a fine substitute.
