barch88 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) Should I be using two bridges, or one bridge with my Crossfire setup? 1920x1080 res...I heard anything that is considered full HD and higher (1080), I should use two, but these posts were old, like to get some new insight. thx Edited October 21, 2009 by barch88
rourkchris Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 You only need one. The additional bridge space is for running 3 way and 4 way Crossfire. I've run crossfire with 1 bridge on a pair of 3870s, a pair of 4890s, and currently on a pair of 5870s. All of them worked with one bridge. Baulten Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Use one bridge. Two can cause issues; the extra port is for connecting Tri/Quad Fire/SLI.

Parts should be in Friday, looking forward to the build. <_<
