damian Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 It "could" run your computer, but anyone will advice you not too. That power supply is pretty much generic, something you'd want to stay away from. Try saving up for a better quality unit. Save up for a decent 550 watt, no reason to cut corners on the heart of your build.
sack_patrol Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) Won't run ur pc. Detach the fan and save it(lol). Then sell the psu (or if u want sell with fan) and buy a 550w psu (550w atleast). My antique PC (from 2003) runs on 480w psu...i think. rofl Edited October 19, 2009 by ballist1x
spectrascope Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 The wattage would be adequate for that box from a decent brand psu, but that psu is garbage. LIke the others said you can probably find a good 500-600w for under a hundred usd, This OCZ should work well.
