moparman7896 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Ok I have a i7 920, 12 gig of ocz ram made for the i7. After I oced the cpu the b1 and b2 ram slots do not function. Ive tried resting the bios even re flashed it. Windows shows it as 8 gigs but cpuz is showing 12 gig. My question is did I fry something when I overclocked the cpu. Im at a loss so if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. What Ive tried already Reset bios Reflash bios switched ram to diff slots, all ram works fine just not in b1 or b2 The slots worked before overclocking Heres the cpuz pic and hardware monitor showing the 2 diff sizes Also have tried just 6 gig same thing happens Edited October 8, 2009 by moparman7896

NearlyEpic Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Well, if CPU-Z recognizes all your ram, then it's a windows problem. Also congrats on 12gigs of ram. EDIT: If you pirated windows, which i'm not sure you did, considering you had enough money for 12 gigs of ram, then it may be a cause of that Edited October 8, 2009 by NearlyEpic
