i was thinking abotu getting them and running them with raid 0 on windows xp. what do you guys think? good idea or bad? or should i just buy 1? or wait hope intel drops price on the intel x25m :(

JMicron controller. It's essentially... crap.

 

If you can't afford Intel drives, look for the OCZ/GSkill/Patriot/etc Indilinx drives.

Not crap, but Intel and Indilinx are better

They don't make the controller. There's only (from best to worst) Intel, Indilinx, Samsung and JMicron that make them. OCZ, Kingston, Corsair, etc, just pick one based on the targeted price point.
