unknownuser200 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) ok just got my prolimatech Megahalems with the Noiseblocker Pwn fan (1000-2000rpm) and ic diamond 7 carat compound... temps are amazing cores (25*c and 22*C Idle (room temp is 21.111*C)).... However my motherboard wants to run the fan at 1900 rpm.. and id like to lower the fan speed at idle if possible? any program suggestions? unknownuser200 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 thanks that helped alot... put it on standard brought it down to 1300 rpm from 1900 what a difference... temps actually remained almost identical... ran prime 95 for around 5 mins just to see if there was much diffeence... around 37*C each core ... yes i do relieze you have to run it much longer... that was just for a quick test Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thats with my CPU OCed to 3.75GHz , 1.55V I really wanna try to break the 3.8GHz barrier.
