Ooof...I expect some monstrous TDPs if Intel has to use a "stock" heatsink like that. :O:ph34r:

The way Intel quotes TDPs it won't seem that massive. I hate their method as it has nothing to do with the actual maximum dissipation.

I'm not real crazy about this heatsink but have to admit that it already seems far better than their stock heasinks from the Q6600, Q9550, and i7 920. It's about time. Maybe they've finally realized(or been forced) that at full load their heatsinks were barely adequete.

Possibly. Even the i7 920 hits mid 70s under load with the stock cooler. The higher end chips sometimes break 80 C. :lol:
