Rokkaholik Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Sounds like Craigslist..... My last item for sale there resulted in appx 25 scammer e-mails before I ever saw a legit one.
greengiant912 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Yeah I tried selling an ipod and I got emailed that scam. After dealing with a Romanian scam, where I sold a $1200 Pentium 4 EE for like $800 on ebay I am much more cautious. The deal was to good to pass up for a processor that I won. Needless to say paypal did are charge back on my account, saying that the account that I sold to was a stolen account :-\... Watch your arses when you sell online look out for things like this. Ebay and paypal will only protect you if you live in the following countries as a seller: United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.
