And when he continues to reply with such things as "It helped cure me high state of emo though", that makes me not want him here even more. As many of the longtime members can attest you, I also have no fear in anyone thinking I'm a prick, so take that as you will. Your passion is admirable. All I can say is this: If you have an opinion and people don't like you for it that's just too bad. I like this place because everyone says what they feel whether I agree with it or not. I will give you an example: I hate President Obama. I think he is a total idiot and a socialist. I think lefty liberals are the ruination of this country. That's my opinion which I have expressed on this website many times. People like VERRAN have given me flack over this and thats thier opinion. I don't think anyone here hates me for those thoughts even though they don't agree. I say these things to liberals faces at work and they don't hate me for it because its an opinion. This thread may be a little lame but it sure shows me a lot of people's true character. I'd rather tell someone to grow some balls and deal with a situation than let him be a crybaby emo kid forever, that goes for real life too... I'm sure everyone here is a tough giant ninja. The point has nothing to do with taking him to task for uninformed posts either. That's far from what I'm addressing here. The point was a lot of posts that *in my opinion* were a little cruel at another's expense. There's a member of the board who could use a little guidance and maybe a little compassion making a post here. I'm far from perfect in this either and have even apologized for my posts in the recent past. Saying that you're not hiding behind the internet's annonymity is a little silly. I mean come on ccokeman, is that your real name or an annonymous user name? It may have meaning for you personally but it tells me very little about you and seems annonymous to me. That's not taking you to task or anyone else for that matter. It's just to illustrate the point of fearless annonymity. There is a glass wall between usernames and avatars in general that makes it really easy for someone to take a verbal jab at someone else's expense with no real-world consequences. This I find childish and lacking in both character and compassion. I find it very odd that mentioning this lack of character as I see it and lack of personal accountability has riled so many up.
