It is very nerve recking to see some of these kids on the street they drive like nothing in drivers Ed mattered and that their way to drive is the right way. Just dont go driving arround in a vauxhall corsa, (or similar) with your stereo on max, trying to look cool - believe me people who do that look like utter douches. I still hav'nt got mine yet, and to think - everyone in my school thought i would be the first, and the first to get a car too because i was the biggest car Eccentric they knew of have fun! That's funny, when I was in Croatia 2 years ago, We rented a Opel Corsa and that thing was a joke, a 1.0L a like 70 HP engine, lol the thing could barely do over 150km/h on the highway. Kash Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Yes, but in my case it's true. People look at me funny when I've told them that I've driven from NJ to Florida and Texas and Canada. They're also amazed at my ability to drive a RWD car in a foot of snow. I've logged many many miles in the ten years I've been driving. I'd say I qualify as the 5% who isn't just puffing himself up. E.g. 2008 Opel Corsa OPC / Vauxhall Corsa VXR 192PS 1.6 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine ( about 189 US Horsepower ) Top speed of 140 MPH 0-60 MPH in 6.8 seconds Gas Mileage : 35.8 mpg combined estimate 2007 Corsa SRi detuned version of the turbocharged engine found in Corsa VXR with an output of 150 hp 0-60mph in 7.6 seconds top speed of 130mph So, Corsas can be quite quick... especially compared to driving in the US (which I have 3 years experience of) oh yeah, almost forgot lol... well done on passing the test!
