ir_cow Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 (edited) simple answer is no. i tried with cheaper cards a v3750 and a 4670 (some gpu, different bios). the result was it flashed just fine and Firegl driver installed but it wasn't any faster than before just ran a little crummier so to speak. the next best thing would be to softmod it but currently all 4xxx cards won't softmod because ati got smart and made it alot harder than just changing the inf file. get a 3870 and softmod it, also remember it only works in xp. i did a thread somewheres on here last year, search for it. edit: ops nvm HERE it is Edited September 13, 2009 by hornybluecow Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
