Windows Media Player - No Libraries

Recommended Posts

Whenever I want to open Windows Media Player, I'm greeted with an empty library - it just disappeared one day!

Windows Media Player is set to import music from the My Music folder, and yet there's nothing in the library, but I have tons of music in the folder.

See here. First result.

But I suggest another solution which consists of using a better program such as Winamp or VLC.

I went there already but it's an XP fix that includes directories that don't exist in Windows 7.
