is the mybook world edition II still hackable?

I am looking at getting a Western Digital MyBook World Edition II for a home repository.

that the world edition is quite hackable so i was wondering if anyone knew if the edition II is still as hackable as version 1?

It's just as hackable as it can be.

So nice NAS haveing a 1tb my self, and i'm glad i bought this server.

Soon there will be an unbrick software for it. Just plug in the harddrive and start the software and an hour later it is just as good as new.
