XxHellxRaizerxX Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Has anyone here on OCC ever used one of these and confirm whether it's worth the $50 price tag? I've been looking at it for a while and am planning on purchasing it tomorrow but I wanted some last opinions. It will be an upgrade for me that's for sure as currently I am using a $10 M$ optical I got from walmart that served me a good 3-4 years but is now starting to wear out. I do a decent amount of gaming and video editing on my PC as well as general browsing. Thanks in advance
suchuwato Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I've got one and I don't use it for gaming, just video and graphics stuff... It's a nice feel, sturdy and the sensitivity can be adjusted just right... it's a good buy!
Chrusty Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I own this mouse and it's fabulous for both gaming and graphical needs. It's actually brilliant. Seriously. Go for it.
Jonsp Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I bought one a couple of weeks back. Its really good. Along with the Razer pad I bought, it slides so easily, looks cool and feels good. Get it
SMeeD Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Before I got the mamba I had a deathadder. Well worth $50 if you are looking for a new mouse. It never gave me any problems.
maj0rgamer Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 don't use the deathadder personally but don't think you can go wrong with it... have been using a similar razer mouse, the lachesis, for close to a year. have read really good things about the deathadder and highly recommend it, razer products (except for headsets maybe) are hard to beat. if you've never used a gaming mouse before, prepare to be struck with amazingness... have fun
SMeeD Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 (edited) People seem to really like the deathadder. Earlier today on vent a friend was recommending it and this guy seriously hates everything. I was pretty surprised. The mamba Im using now is a deathadder sans cord (DPI set to 2k) and I can use it all day and my hand never gets tired.
