No need to call people liars, or spout out about BS, all you have to do is ask.

There's nothing wrong with by board, sensors, or chip.

That's a funny looking 4.5 GHz there. It's also not 58 C max. Try again. :P

When I run my quad at 4.5GHz I need 1.504v vcore, and during a one hour stress test with OCCT, my temps only get to 58c , highest core temp.

No need to call people liars, or spout out about BS,

I agree. However with air or water cooling in an environment that most would consider ambient temperature what you are showing is not possible. Either ambient is much lower then normal, some type of below ambient cooling is being used or the sensors are broke. To claim any different is doing yourself a big disservice. It doesn't change much as for as the temperatures are concerned but your screenshots are a long way from the 4.5GHz claimed above.

My computer room is 10'X12', and I use a 1200btu air conditioner to keep the ambient room temp to 62 degrees.

Yet you show 61 C at 3.8 GHz...a far cry from 58 C at 4.5 GHz.

I guess you didn't get my point? No matter...I'd rather deal with adults!

It's clear that the mod, is the only polite one here!

There's no reason not to be!

Good luck with your Q6600 & your E8400

Hope all goes well!

When you post something as amazing as a quad on air at 4.5 GHz with that much voltage and that temperature...do you really expect us not to question it? I didn't call you a liar; I simply wondered how you got such amazing results. Since you didn't exactly post proof (different speed and temperature) it was a bit funny. :)

I do find it humorous that you consider asking questions (or pointing out a possible problem) rude yet you call us children.

I know fromn personal experience that if I have my CPU at a low fsb then bump it up with the same voltage, the temps drastically increase. I remember using 1.44 volts for 4ghz @ 62C , then for 4.4ghz shortly after with the same 1.44v and it came out to 66C. And at that higher voltage you are running it becomes even more true.

Any increase in clock rate will increase the heat output, that's how CMOS transistors work. Be it FSB, CPU clock, etc...

Waco, look at the thread title, it sounds like he is trying to say his OC is so amazing that it should be illegal. No one cares what was used to cool it or who did it, its just about the OC.
