Hey guys just a quick question, on speedfan, which temperature should I be paying attention to, the CPU temperature or the core temperatures?

and why is there such a huge temperature difference between them?

I uploaded the pic of the temps on idle.

thanks

I second that! I think both Core Temp, and Real Temp are equally as good as each other, but I do prefer Real Temp!

And to clarify...the CPU temp is the general, overall temp of your cpu, however the most important readings are your individual core temperatures. Those are the temps you look at to determine if your reaching your high temp limit, not the general cpu temp.

Core temperatures are the ones you should be looking at, but I suggest you use CoreTemp or RealTemp ;)

I agree the core temp show each units individual temp. :thumbs-up:

Mine is the same way, big differences.

It does seem ur idle temps are a bit high for that core voltage.
