MrNiszl Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 hi, My problem is as follows, currently i have 2x 1gb DDR2 1066 raptor gaming ram. I have another DDR2 800 2gb ram stick lying around and i was wandering is it worth adding the extra 2 gb of ram and sacrificing SLI ram and the speeds of the ram are different?. My build is as follows: Nvidia 780i FTW Evga 9800gtx Q6600 Coolermaster 650 Vista ultimate64 Thanks!!

If it won't hold back an overclock than I'd say you'd definitely see a nice increase in performance from 2GB --->4GB
