Stuart Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Is there any way or free software that you can tell which computers in your network are turned on? Thanks
airman Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 (edited) Go to command prompt, and type "net view" without quotes. Anything in your workgroup that is listed will show up if it is on. This is assuming you're on Windows 2000 or later. Network discovery for the PCs that you want to show up will have to be on, as well. the_dude Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 You could download an ip scanner and run it.
Nerm Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 There is a program called "The Dude" that can do this via SNMP.
