Computation Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 +1, if you need any suggestions, just come to us, and I doubt you'll notice anymore blurs. Ok cool. I'll take some suggestions. :thumbs-up: I actually just found a buyer for my Acer monitor...$130. They are gonna come and take a look at it wedensday. I was gonna put it toward a Viewsonic...but what do you suggest?
ClayMeow Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I have a ViewSonic at work, but I don't game on it, so I can't speak to how it'd hold up with gaming. My gaming monitor at home is a Samsung 2253BW...probably don't even make it anymore, so there are probably better ones now. Samsungs are the best, IMO. I've heard Dells, ViewSonics, and LGs are good for gaming as well, but I don't have any firsthand experience.
Waco Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 When it comes to LCD monitors, it's the opposite of everything you said; 60Hz means nothing, it's the other specs that matter. 120Hz helps for sports on large screen LCD TVs. On a 22" screen it doesn't make a difference...LCDs are different than CRTs. This. Unless you are trying to do 3D stereoscopic stuff with shutter glasses...60 Hz is as good as it gets for gaming.
