I'm over the iPod

Recommended Posts

Some more saddening news. According to a review by CNet on Aug 4th, Zune HD's browser doesn't support flash. And here I thought one of the main benefits of Tegra was to bring flash to mobile devices. I've lost faith in the Zune HD. Guess we'll have to wait for it to release and get a full final review of it. Things could change and things could not change. All up to Microsoft's Zune Team.

Although I really like the new interface, I hope they bring it to the older Zunes with a firmware update: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-12519_7-10309706-49.html

I love the idea of Pins (Win 7) and Recently Added.

I hope what Nvidia says is true when those Tegra Netbooks start coming out this Fall/Winter.

Why would you want flash? By apple you have to pay 10 .ing dollars to get the newest one(Stupid 3.0 update).

Hulu, Youtube, and every other flash website on the entire internet. Who wouldn't want flash support on their browser?

I for one cannot wait until HTML5 is more widespread. Then there will be little need for either annoying technology.

HTML5 includes support for embedded audio / video and will sites like Hulu, YouTube, and others to offer video with no need for Flash, Silverlight, or JavaFX. If lack of support for those things on high end devices like the Zune HD and iPod Touch/iPhone help propel the adoption of HTML5, I'm all for it.

Thankfully the iPod Touch / iPhone has the YouTube app which has many YouTube videos converted over to H.264.

It would be nice if they have Last.fm built into the Zune and software like they did with the 360. Ugh. I think I need to find Zune's official suggestion site. -_-

I have LastFM and Pandora on my Touch Pro, but I never got LastFM to work right (and everyone says it's better than Pandora)

I usually just use my Touch Pro's Video Downloader app to download the .flv or .mp4 file and then watch them on my video player.

The iPhone and iPod touch do NOT have flash capability. Where do you see such an option?

Meh, why would I want to switch? I have had my Ipod 30GB for years now and has done well. What I like about the Ipod is its simplicity. And Itunes is a piece of cake, just import and export music. The simplicity of it is what makes it so good. There is no reason to switch to the Zune in my case.

If i had bought the Zune first then I would probably stick with it, but the notorious saying "if its not broken, dont fix it" comes into play.

no one cares about ipod or zune.

we all have iphones.

 Sorry, I'd rather spend $100 a month on something more important than a playtoy with a phone built in.
