ok im redoing my watercooling system and im adding uv cc what can you put in the water where it wont mess up the system but still use ur dye in the water thanx justin

it works ive got the dye im just trying to figure out what you can put in it to stop corrusion but not be to harsh where i can still use uv dye in it ive got the dye but when i put the antifreeze in it last time it looked horribly now i have so more uv lights to go in it so i need to figure the right combination where i can use the uv dye but still keep corusion out

I use water wetter, but that might affect the color... I did read once about someone putting Azithromycin in. it is an antibiotic....

 

I can't find the link and I don't know if it would work... but might be worth some research

ya that is a good idea it will kill mold and i recently got mold in my water cooling system it was a pain to clean out

Just a suggestion, I'm not into the water cooling systems yet, but if the old 'green' antifreeze is causing problems you might try the new dexcool (sp?) that GM is putting into their cars now. It has a totally differenct base than the green af.

I don't know if I'd be a willing guinea pig, but it may be worth a shot for someone with time.
