DirectX 11 Screenshots [Amazing]

Multithreading and the new Compute Shader are the most significant additions to DirectX in my opinion. SMP in DX is well overdue, and the new Compute Shader allows GPGPU code on nVidia or ATi. I think this will really help develop hybrid CPU/GPU processing, and potentially result in a big jump in application and OS performance by making wider use of GPU power and multiple CPU cores.

 

DirectX 11 Preview has been available in the DirectX SDK for some time now, so you can see a few examples and literature about some of the new features in more depth :)
