_TheAlexO Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Soon im investing in a Projector. I will have my computer in an entertainment center and my keyboard and mouse with me on the couch. (so yea an HTPC) . BUT i still want to game and do other computer intensive stuff. So which WIRELESS keyboard and mouse should i choose.?? Ive read in the past wireless isnt good for gaming. Wondering if things have changed. money isnt necessarily a concern. But dont suggest a $300 kit. Thats just stupid Thanks
Darth_Tom Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 I'd recommend any of a number of Logitech Keyboards and Mice. If you need a "Gaming" grade mouse, you can try Logitech's G7. It is identical to their G5, except the G7 is wireless. It's $75, but it has the quick adjust DPI that most Gamers want. On another note, I don't think wireless is as bad as it used to be - I've never gotten any skipping on a Logitech mouse, and the one I have isn't anywhere near the $75 price tag. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16826104203 A keyboard is a keyboard, so it just comes down to what you want out of it. Most "Gaming" keyboards are wired though, so you're a bit out of luck. If you're less concerned about getting a mouse that is mostly marketed toward gamers like the G series, there's always the option of getting a nice Mouse+Keyboard combo set. I think mine cost around $60, and I love it.
shibby_geek_guy_69 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 If you need a "Gaming" grade mouse, you can try Logitech's G7. Have had mine now for a number of years (Probably getting up to 3 years now, actually) and its never failed me. Flashing battery low light means i can change batteries between rounds...
