peshewah Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 this is my first build and I'm really proud. It runs. I didn't put my OS in, and I know thats the biggest part of it. Last April was the first time I ever turned on a computer so the fact that it runs is really saying something. It runs smooth and its a hell of alot faster than my Dell (piece of crap, thieven bastards). No one to really brag to so thanks for listening. Eva_Unit_0 Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 That's some nice stuff in your sig. Â But I'm curious...how do you know it's smoother and faster than your dell if it doesn't have an OS on it?

Nuclear Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 Good choice. Get some cooling and OC that 2.4c, it hurts my heart to see a 2.4c under 3GHz. Â BTW: Rig #3 of mine is an air-cooled 2.4c on a Abit AI7 board w/ Mushkin RAM. Very solid setup and my "play toy"
peshewah Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 I have an OS but I never installed it. I took it to a shop and paid $130 to have my OS and drivers installed and to make sure it was all hooked up properly so I wouldn't fry anything. And I would love to OC but I don't know how.
