Stuart Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) I think its because whenever i go to rivatuner to turn the fan to max, the fan is manually stuck at 25% Edited June 12, 2009 by Stuart
SMeeD Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) You can manually turn the fan speed up in the ATI control panel under the overdrive section. That still seems warm though. When I forget to turn the speed up for my 4870 it only idled at 78C. I turned the speed to 50% and it idles at 45C Edited June 12, 2009 by SMeeD
Verran Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 It's not cause for panic, but that's WAY hotter than I'd be comfortable with. 25% clearly isn't cutting it.
