Hey all, I'm new here and after a long wait, my account was validated (Thanks, Norm!) and I wanted to say hey, show my specs and see if anyone has any recommendations in regards of where to go from here. This is a barebones kit I bought from tigerdirect.com a week ago, received on June 2nd and added a new graphics card to. So if you have any suggestions, comments, or welcomes they'd be greatly appreciated. thanks and i'm stoked to start gaming/chatting it up with you all.

Welcome.

 

If nothing else please change the power supply! Most power supplies that come with cases are low end, poor quality generics and I don't think this one is any different.

 

A good quality, OCZ, Corsair, Thermaltake, etc., of 300W or more will still do the job but at least you will be guaranteed 300W of good quality power.

 

Have a look at the Recommended Power Supply list.

yes indeed, before thinking about any upgrades a good quality power supply should be the first thing to get.

 

after that, maybe a nice third party cpu cooler such as this so you can maybe get into overclocking.
