Verran Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 First of all, I'd recommend dropping the l33t speak. "itz limitz" just looks really, really silly. Second, no one knows what the limit of your chip is besides you. Not all E7200s clock the same. Do you need help getting past 3Ghz? If so, it might help telling us what's wrong as well as what you've done so far and how your temps are. Also, what cooling are you using? jgv115 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 l33t speak ftw! ... Show us some screenshots of CPUZ so we know where you are at. Also some real temp readings.
gav94 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 My Email OK Here are my Stats i got it too 3.00Ghz but i thought i should stop!
jgv115 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Be smarter and turn speedstep off or take a screenshot when the CPU is under load. Also what is your RAM? (speed, brand)
Verran Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Why did you think you should stop? Have you done any stability testing yet?
9KRacing Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Are you monitoring your temps?

kozary Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 My experience with a E7300 landed me @ 4ghz with around 1.47ish volts If you have stock cooling on that done go much past 3.2ghz otherwise it'll start to overheat. you should be able to go to about 3.8ghz if you have a good Heatsink. not the origanal Intel one.
