Question on Fill Port For HAF 932 Case

Recommended Posts

I have a feeling that I'm going to be a little upset when all my items come in from newegg. I bought a HAF 932 case and am going to be using a water setup, however with this being my first attempt at water cooling I am a little confused about the fill port for the case. Do I just hook up tubing to it or does it not even have a nipple. And if it does what size is it? I guess I should have found this out a little earlier but I was so eager to buy my first desktop setup in years that I sort have jumped the gun. I bought a water setup with a t-line. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :withstupid:

I'm guessing that all there is with the case is the fill port itself and no barb. If you look in the manual it should give dimensions for the fillport so that you can buy one. www.petrastechshop.com is the best place to get water cooling stuff.

The "fill port" on the HAF 932 is a hole about 1 inch in diameter. There is nothing there but a hole. I have seen people run their fill lines up through it. Out of the box, the area with the fill port is covered by a removable rubber mat.

Hope that helps!

Thanks guys, I went ahead and bought some stuff about 3 hrs after post, I am kinda mad at myself, but seeing as this is my first water setup I guess I can cut myself some slack. Problem is I'm stationed in Japan and waiting for stuff to get shipped is like getting teeth pulled at the dentist. Guess I will have to wait longer to get my water setup going. :withstupid:
