Eva_Unit_0 Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Okay, I have a particularly stubborn 9700pro. It doesn't want to overclock much, even when being watercooled. (and boy does it run cool...the back of the pcb is only slightly warm) Anyway, does anybody have any experience with changing the Vagp? I was thinking that maybe if I raised the agp voltage that might in turn raise the vcore and vmem on the card, and thus "persuade" this thing to oc higher...does anybody know exaclty what raising this voltage will do? Paranoid Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Since it is watercooled, even if you try it and it doesn't work, no harm will be done to the card.
sYstEmATiC Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 yes its the same as raising the vcore on a cpu, it helps out soem, i was able to get a 15/10 oc higher on my geforce2 years ago by raising it .1vt and a 25/20 on a .2 raise but it was HOT!
