kingdingeling Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 After leaving Australia last week, I am now in Huntington Beach near Los Angeles, after a few days in San Francisco. My mate and I are on a road trip through the Southwest at the moment, stopped by here because a great friend of mine had been pretty much living here for the past two months. After this, we'll be cruising towards the Grand Canyon, Arches National Park and the whole shebang, before heading back to San Francisco via Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks, which should be awesome as well! I am feeling a bit sad now that my world trip is almost over, but hey, I had a great time If any of you are thinking of going on a bit of a world trip, definitely do it! It's so worth it, so much fun and you get to meet so many people! /random post of the day B:)

mrsinister Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Money might not be able to make you happy, but it sure as hell can keep you from being sad. I'm about an hour from where you are now. Good ole' Redlands, CA. Huntington beach isn't bad eh?
Onion Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Well I didn't say to replace money with everything you have now. Money would be an awesome addition though.
ClayMeow Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Money doesn't make you happy dude, it helps to an extent, but it really doesn't make you happy! People who say that are full of crap . Money helps pay for the things that make you happy. Period. The End. Thanks for playing . Anywho, I took a three-week "West-Coast" trip back when I was younger. You should try to venture out to Utah and go to Bryce and Zion National Parks....oh, and stop in Nevada and go to Vegas while you're at it

Kash Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 It's too bad you live out in the middle of nowhere cjloki, it would be fun to have a little meetup of California OCCers People that say "Money doesn't buy Happiness" just don't know where the fark to shop. I know I'll be happier once I'll be raking in the big bucks, but mainly for the fact that financial security will provide me with some peace of mind, not because there's a long list of things I want to buy that I somehow think will make me happy. As long as I can go out with my friends or go on vacation and pay rent/bills without worrying about whether or not I have the money, I'm happy. I don't need a fancy car or a big house or lots of toys to be happy.
