Jiv Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Hi, I'm trying to find a suitable HDTV card for the pc, what I want to do from the card is this 1) watch shows 2) record shows I would prefer a USB/ External card because I dont want to take up anymore PCI slots. The questions I really want to ask are 1) Can my monitor Acer P203W handle 1080i signal? For example, if the card only sends out 1080i signal, I would not be able to watch the shows right? 2) How is the Compro Videomate V300? Is it compatible with my system? I'm using Vista 32-bit at the moment. 3) Or if the V300 is not suitable can anyone suggest a card from http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_p...p;cPath=553_555 Thanks, btw, I'm in Australia, and I'm not sure what signals is being used, is that important? If yes, how do i find whats the signal?
