Boards that I've used and liked:

Asus Rampage extreme 2

MSI x58 Platinum

EVGA E758-A1

EVGA E760 CLASSIFIED

I wouldn't do the 3 GPU's as the performance increase really won't be worth the money. What resolution are you playing at?

Gigabyte EX58-UD5 -3 way CrossFireX (very good mobo, performance like the rampage only without the fancy gadgets, easier on the wallet too)

EX58-UD4P- or this one only 2 way crossfire, the 3xCF is not worth the money.

Theres better things to spend money on than a third card in CF.

Performance actually drops in some games because of it.

Heck, I would say if you really have a couple hundred extra to throw away, get a i7 940. At least it won't degrade performance in anything. and it'll be a 10% constant boost from a 920 versus the third card which will be vary between about +/- 8% performance.

thanks 4 the CF info that could have been nice waste of cash (would look good though).

im running 1920 x 1200res

also i love my overclocking and want to run at least 4ghz+ on water my current cpu the old Q6600 sits on 4ghz all day @1.55v 45c under load are theses numbers going to work WELL with a 920 or am i dreaming and are the motherbords you pointed out good overclockering.

For 1080 4870CF is more than enough.i7 920 hits the 4ghz mark pretty easily even on good air cooling so i guess you could aim at the 4-4.4ghz range with water, depends on the chip.I think the EX58-UD4P is a sweet buy for the price ,overclocks well,P6T Deluxe clocks well and so does the rampage all of those boards should let you hit the 4ghz mark with no problems.
