Seriphx Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Hey everyone I'm building a rig for a friend and here are the specs: AMD Athlon x2 7750 512MB GTS 250 XFX/EVGA 4GB Kit(2x2G)DDR2 1066 Kingston ASUS M2N68 Gigabyte Desktop GK-KM6100 Ritmo 1200W 2.1 Seagate SATA 500G SATA Samsung DVDRW This is around 630 AUD and he doesn't want to spend much more, The PSU I was going to get is another 95 dollars (600W Vantec ION2+) I have a Thermaltake 430W PSU sitting in my room and I was wondering if that would be enough power to run this? Thanks alot guys. (The monitor is 17 or 19" WS)
dr_bowtie Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_gts_250_us.html click on the Specs tab...says minimun rig power 450W... I'd go beyond that...I have a Corsair HX520watt unit myself and I have a Q6600 and a GTS-
