Network Cards

I am just wondering if anyone has used 2 network cards in a pc and if they have do the 2 cards conflict and if they dont and i use both at the same time pluged into my switch will it give me twice the speed of a tx100 if there is 2 nic.'s on both pc's

That is a crazy question, but since your on the subject. My friend told me that you can use two 56k modems at the same time and get twice the connection speed. So, lets see umm, let me get my calculator out. Son of a....Oh yea it's 112. You need some kind of a device to make that work though. :rolleyes:

What Shaggy is talking about is called Multilinking, and for that to work, your ISP has to support it...

 

 

As to your question, yes you can use 2 NIC cards in the same PC.

2 nics will work just fine in a computer.

to get twice the the speed into the

same switch, I would think that you need

some sort of load balancer.

 

looking for faster network speeds,

go gigabit or fiber ;)

yeah u use 2 net cards also.. when you have cable or something..

1 netcard has the cord to the Cable hookup and one to my router..

 

for all to share the bandwith :)
