Shaggy Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 That is a crazy question, but since your on the subject. My friend told me that you can use two 56k modems at the same time and get twice the connection speed. So, lets see umm, let me get my calculator out. Son of a....Oh yea it's 112. d3bruts1d Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 What Shaggy is talking about is called Multilinking, and for that to work, your ISP has to support it... As to your question, yes you can use 2 NIC cards in the same PC.
posey Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 2 nics will work just fine in a computer. to get twice the the speed into the same switch, I would think that you need some sort of load balancer. looking for faster network speeds, go gigabit or fiber
