Well, using something other than an Asus board for the first time in 8 years and, well, it's forcing me to learn how to overclock haha.

I've never really pushed anything higher than the 10% overclock option on my A8N5X and K8U-X so this is going to be a learning experience

Long story of how I came to own this EVGA board but it started with a friend giving me his old Athlon 4000+ when he upgraded to an E8500, Maybe I'll tell it if y'all are interested in hearing it haha

I've heard you can get some pretty nice clocks out of these and I want to try and push it to 3Ghz, BUT I need a bit of help to get there ^^;

I have a few CPU-Z screens, and I'm currently running it at a stable 2.64Ghz with idle temps of 26~29C and 33~36C under full load, plan on getting a second matching ram set, a better PSU and a pair of 7900's and using it as a secondary computer/LAN party rig after I finish my new build towards the end of the summer, hopefully I'll be able to apply the overclocking knowledge I gain here to getting the most out of my Phemon II 955 =]
