Andrewr05 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I haven't gone through the magazine aisle in ANY store (with the intent of looking at magazines) in a helluva long time... Which got me thinking... Does anyone really buy magazines anymore? I like Popular Science and Popular Mechanics (my father gives me the old issues when ever I go down to his place) and I occasionally read through a tech related magazine if I spot one in the recycling. But I don't subscribe to any or regularly buy any...
Kash Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I didn't realize stores had islands or peninsulas inside them. The places I go have their magazines in aisles The only time I'll really buy magazines is when I'm at the airport before hopping on a flight, which is about two or three times a year. Every once in a while I'll see a good magazine at the checkout aisle at the supermarket that I'll pick up. However, I rarely go to bookstores to pick up magazines like I used to back in high school, let alone have a subscription to any magazines. hardnrg Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I used to, until the Internet became better than magazines, and more up to date... It's handy to have hardcopies though, and I still have most of my computer music magazines for the tutorials and guides
