Comp Dude2 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 (edited) Ok, so probably not really hardware related but it is networking. Anyway....i used to have a POP3 account on a different computer, but the same IP and same connection. That computer has been formatted and has lost all the info relating to emails. I was wondering if i can access the account again, using my computer (which is on a wireless network, but again connected to the same IP) What information about the account would i need to do so if it is possible? thanks guys Edited April 30, 2009 by Comp Dude2
Nerm Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 You will need to know the following: -Username -Password -Incoming and outgoing servers (actually just to check the email you only need to know the incoming Or you could just see if they have webmail for the account. redtigerdragon Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Probably just you email address. But if you had it as a pop account, it would have saved all of your emails to you local machine. Depends on the setting though.
