EternityEight Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 OK, so my computer has been running fine and dandy, but i came home for the christmas and brough my computer with me. And ever since then ive had an instability problem I couldnt fix.... i tried everything..... changing PSU, changing RAM, reseating the hsf (and the northbridge cooler >.< ) underclocking the cpu..... and no matter what i did... whenever i left my computer for a while Id come back and it would of shut itself down. I even checked the temerature.... usually is 35 idle ... 45 load, except when the central heating is on, and then its a bit more for both.. so i couldnt see overheating being the problem but today... i go into my room to find my sister turning my computer off! so i say "what the dude are you doing" and she says "oh, the noise of the fans is annoying so ive been turning it off.... why does it need to be on all the time anyway?" ARRGH!
