I did not "shoot down" anything... I was simply telling him that I already tried it, and I pointed him to the posts where I CLEARLY stated that I already tried that. jesus christ...

Have fun overclocking on your own then...clearly you need no help from any of us.

Finally got it stable.

Currently 4GHz (501x8) on stock voltage:

OCCT 4hrs 30mins + (still running)

Screenshot Here

I'm gonna run this for 10hrs, then I'll call it official. After this, I'm gonna try 4.2GHz, and I believe that's the max I can do on this Zalman 9500 lol.

and please.. don't ruin my thread. I hate fighting on the internet, it's really pointless and immature.

*EDIT*

My new official OC

4GHz with 1.25v

OCCT 10hrs+ stable

Screenshot Here

Now it's time to see how far I can go without stock voltage =) fun fun

I'll put $10 on you failing IntelBurnTest within 20 minutes on the largest size you can run.

Well, it looks like your learning to OC, that's GOOD.

Now, you just have to learn to NOT be a jerk to people with tons more experience than you, that were trying to help you.

Good Luck.

I'm just trying to point out that it's not stable...take that how you will.

good job....

I'd call it good too....if it's stable by your standards then it's good...

8 hours is considered good for most forum standards for overclocking...

anymore I call it stable if it last as long as I am using it...;)

thank you, and yeah most ppl on other forums say 8hrs OCCT or 24hrs Orthos is good, from what I've read.
