sandman1485 Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 I had my computer up and running for 12 days, and I was turning off my LED light when I guess I hit some form of power source and the computer rebooted. Low and behold, upon rebooting and entering in my login password, windows would not work properly. It takes a long time to get passed the log in screen (30 seconds) and once in, just shows the background. I am able to start some processes through cntrl+alt+del but there is no explorer.exe running. The only processes running are SYSTEM processes. I have tried to boot up but it seems my bootleg copy of windows doesn't work for bootups. My intention was to repair it through the windows cd, but I'm having trouble getting there. If indeed this is the way to solve my problem, I'm sure I'll find a way. However, for now I am not sure. I was wondering if any of you have had the same problem? If so, or if you just wanna take a shot at solving it, please let me know!
