STEAM shortcuts

Hi,

 

I like to use STEAM for all the games I possibly can, and the ones I cant, I like to add a short cut to the games list to allow me to launch games all from the one place.

 

This works fine for all games bar FSX.

 

If I launch FSX from the start menu, it starts perfectly. If I lauch it using the Steam short cut, I get the error:

 

The MSXML4 SP2 Component is not installed. Please reinstall Flight Simulator or restore or repair the missing component.

 

Now why would it launch fine from the Start menu, but not Steam?? Am I missing something?

 

I googled the problem, and lots of people seem to have it, but when launching the game normally. I tried the fixes they suggested, despite me not really having the problem, to no avail.

 

Its not a major problem obviously, as I can play FSX, would just be nice if I could launch it from the same place I launch all my other games.

 

Any suggestions?

Odd issue, I can launch FSX from steam just fine, takes a little longer to load though. take a look at this, hope that helps.
