Information: MB: Gigabytes GA-EP45T-DS3R CPU: Intel Q6600 Memory: OCZ Intel Extreme 4gb DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Graphic: Radeon HD 2600PRO Power supply: 500W Aspires I need help with settings and recommendation to make overclocking successful. Thanks
Waco Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 It's entirely likely that the CPU won't even do 3.5 GHz. What have you tried so far? EDIT: Replace that PSU pronto. It's a POS and if it fails it could take the whole thing with it.
Verran Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 So far I tried different settings and it always load back to the default setting at 2.4 ghz. This sentence is not overly helpful. What have you tried? How can we tell you what you're doing wrong if we don't know what you're doing? Also, like Waco said, it's very possible that a newer Q6600 won't do 3.5. Most of them won't, including mine.
