PC appearing as PDA to some webpages

Been lurking here for a bit and figured the knowledgable people here could help me out. Running XP SP3 with all recent updates. After some windows udates on the 19th of march my pc suddenly started appearing as a pda device to a couple of webistes. None of the other pcs on my home network have this happenning, so I know its isolated to this pc. I have tried deleting the links from favorites and manually typing them in, cleared the cache and still no dice. When the problem happened I was using IE7 but have since updated to IE8 and still isn't a go.

Checking out the KB on the updates I made that night I didn't see anything that might be causing my issues, but here are the updates I made that night:

Update for Windows Live Sign-In Assistant (KB 967912)

Windows XP Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool

Windows XP Update for Root Certificates

Windows XP Dell Inc. - Printers - Dell Color Laser 1320c

Office Live Add-in Office Live Add-in

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm assuming by "showing up as a PDA to some webpages" you mean you are receiving a mobile version of the website.

What website(s)? Is IE8 running in compatibility mode? If it is, disable it... if it isn't try enabling it to see what happens. Does this only happen with IE or does it happen in any browser? Additionally, some websites automatically change based on screen resolution rather than browser UA.... you aren't running some kind of funky resolution, are you?

That was exactly what I was referring to, and your resolution tip seemed to work. Running at 1600x1050. I adjusted the resolution down to 1024x768 then back up and the sites are loading fine. I don't remember trying to force a larger resolution, 1600x1050 is my monitor's native resolution, but my wife and kids use this pc as well. Might have to lock them out :P Thanks forthe help.
