Registry Cleaner

I use CCleaner, but lately I discovered a program called registry mechanic (by PCTools) which has a freeware version you can download. The freeware does a full scan, but only repairs a selected group of the errors it might find.

My question is..

When I run CCleaner nowadays, I encounter zero errors. Yet, Registry Mechanic does something it calls a 'deep scan' and finds a few hundred errors. Of course, you need to pay $30 dollars to repair them. It's an award winning program, but I'm wondering if there's any real benefit.

Anyone have any experience with this program, or any sort of feedback they can give me?

Thanks in advance,

Avo
