Phil Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I'm looking into all-in-one printers for a friend and am wondering if anyone has an opinion as to which major brand is most economical when it comes to replacement ink cartridges. Turophiliac Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I've always had good luck with the HP printers. mine is the C4280 model and ink is always about 10 bucks a cartridge wherever I go.
d3bruts1d Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 HP does not fall into the "cheapest ink replacement category." I quit using them after my AIO would not longer scan a B&W doc because it was out of color. Grrr. As far as who is cheeper, I have no idea these days. I think they all pretty much rip ya off. OwinC Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 HP here. There are better ones out there. Check Consumer reports for some of their reviews of all in one printers. I be to lazy to link.
Phil Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Thanks for the replies. I'll check out Consumer Reports. The only thing I've ruled out so far is Canon, ink is expensive and you can't get refilled cartridges. <_< Good printers though. Well so much for the Consumer Reports idea, you've got to pay. Phil Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I just saw an ad on TV touting Kodak printers as being cheap on ink. Anyone have one? I don't know whether to believe it because there was no singing fish.
