GmAz Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 My power supply is getting a little on the old side, ok, maybe already past the old side. It is an Antec True Power 480 watt PSU. I have an NVidia 8800GT OC, Core2Duo 6300 OC'd to 3ghz, 4gb RAM, three hard drives and two optical drives. Is that enough power. Everything runs, no real crashes, but since I have been OCing (recently actually, I quit OCing for a long time) I was wondering if the numbers in the image are ok for the voltages. Should they be exactly on or do they fluctuate.
ARandomOWL Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 480W from that quality PSU is definetly enough for that system. The voltages are also fine, a little flactuation is usual.
Verran Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Software readings like that generally aren't accurate enough to tell you much about the PSU. Also, 480W should be fine for that system.
