Have you ever seen a ghost?

Recommended Posts

Well there was that one time when I was hitting the didge bong with andrew but that's a whole other story...

Edit:

saw an angel once....does that count...???

Me too but I can't remember which porn site it was on... :(

Double edit:

I do believe there are ghosts, but I've never seen one. There are 2 houses in my neighborhood where the residents regularly experience paranormal events.

The next town up from me contains Dudleytown. I know a lot of people who have gone there and had the crap scared out of them, but I think I'll pass. :P

Most likely a cow, or a chicken, or maybe a celtica FLM wandering around.

Well, I think so...... However, I was young at the time and scared by the stories so susceptible to hallucination.

I used to live near some riding stables in a small village called Amport and there were tales of a ghost called 'the white lady of Amport'. Anyway, my brother used to ride and I would sometimes go there with him for something to do. I was told to never go in the stables alone, because of the horses - but others joked about the white lady. So being a precocious 8 year old, as soon as I got the chance I went in the stable block on my own. I was scared s***less and the first few times saw nothing. But one time I was looking at a horse and saw what I thought was the hazy figure of a woman - she was all in white. I ran out of there and never went back. At the time I was 100% convinced I had seen a ghost and still remember it to this day. However, common sense now tells me it could have been a trick of the light or a trick on my scared and impressionable young brain - but I still have a nagging feeling my instincts were right back then and it was a ghost - but who knows. I was not the first or last person that believed they had seen her. To this day I have never been near the riding stables again?

I believe 100%. For many years I just believed and had nothing to base it on other than a deep down gutt belief. It all came to life when I moved into a house with two friends. They had already been living in the house for two years before I moved in and although they saw and felt things, they never said a word. Many of my first nights there I had the craziest dreams. Friends and family who had died years ago frequented my dreams. Absolute strangers came into my dreams to introduce themselves, have a chat and then another would come. It was like a welcoming committee of the dead in my dreams. During wakeful hours in the house I would experience bizare flashes of light in doorways and various rooms. Oddly the flashes were always about 2 1/2 to 3 feet off the ground. My first night alone in the house I was blasting music. Standing behind the decks I noticed a bright flash to my right from the kitchen. I froze, thought wow and was about to change records when the flash appeared in front of me in the livingroom then disappeared. I stopped the music, grabbed my beer and laughing walked to the couch. I sat down, lit a smoke and thought to myself no way can this be. At that point there was a continuous knocking on the flloor directly below my feet. I looked down at my feet and the knocking stopped. So, like the idiot in all horror movies I went to the basement to take a look. Surprise, surprise nothing there. I was looking for heating lines where my feet were and only found a neck of raised hair.
